It all began with Matt Gorman’s vision, encompassing 16 years of experience in bridging the gap left by the inefficiency of recruiter-based candidate acquisition for contract labor.
Matt’s expertise grew as he engaged with various companies ranging from Fortune 1000 to startups, each facing unique workforce challenges. He realized the importance of building a capable workforce, not just in volume but in reliability.
He witnessed firsthand the predicament facing staffing agencies, which could fill shifts rapidly yet struggled to retain a substantial returning workforce. This resulted in compromised candidate deployment, misaligned client expectations, and downstream financial repercussions.
That’s what drove him to develop SFG — a modern blend of tech-native staffing solutions and tested workforce management solutions aimed to solve key business problems including insufficient staffing, slow processes, stalled production, tired employees, maligned management, and quality lapses.
